Motherhood sessions are one of my favorites to capture. Moms are often the ones behind the camera, so I love having a whole session devoted to photographing a momma’s love for kiddos. When you have a motherhood session involving little kids, its so important to not only capture the entire scene but coming into their space to really capture not just the details but all the raw emotions in those moments. I really love to follow the hands, a mom unknowingly playing with her child’s hair, the way her baby reaches for her when breastfeeding, holding tight to her daughter. Hands sometimes tell more story than a whole scene.
